Perched on a view lot in Trousdale Estates, Carla Ridge draws its inspiration from the grassy hillsides of the surrounding canyon.  Working with a plant palette of perennial grasses, we enveloped the architecture with a meadow of fountain grasses and sedges, peppered with aloe and agave accents throughout.  Existing Eucalyptus trees were preserved, and new bamboo planted to frame views east to downtown Los Angeles and West to the Pacific Ocean.  Featured in Wallpaper*.
